Postings related to local or national politics are permitted on FPF.
FPF represents different opportunities to different people. Some people dislike political debates and the like, while others think they are the highest and best use of FPF. In general, FPF does not tell members what they can and cannot post (with a few exceptions, outlined in our Terms of Use). If certain postings are viewed as distasteful, we encourage members to consider skipping over them.
The tone of the forum is of course crucial and, in the end, up to the participants. Neighbors can set the tone by submitting the kinds of postings they'd like to see from others, or speaking up when they feel someone has stepped out of bounds.
