In an effort to promote healthy political discourse among neighbors, we ask that members observe the following guidelines:
- The statements and decisions of government officials, and candidates for office, are subject to greater public scrutiny than those of private citizens. However, dialogue about such individuals is most productive when it stays away from heated personal attacks.
- Steer clear of potentially harmful conjecture regarding topics such as election integrity.
- Keep it civil. When in disagreement with a neighbor, focus on the issue at hand instead of the other member.
- Take turns. If you’ve already weighed in on a discussion, allow space for others to do the same. Don’t dominate the discussion.
