# I moved to another Vermont town and want to join FPF here, but I also want to stay connected to my former neighbors. How do I do that?

## Get involved in your new FPF and stay connected with your former community.

Members who have moved out of a given area are welcome to stay connected with that community via FPF.  We ask, however, that those folks refrain from commenting on local and / or political issues – deferring to / allowing space for the voices of current residents.

To connect with your new area, follow the instructions for adding a [second profile](https://help.frontporchforum.com/how-do-i-join-fpf-at-my-second-residence?hsLang=en) to your account.
