Posting options

  • "Allow people in neighboring FPFs to see this posting..." – Checked by default. Enabling post sharing allows neighbors in surrounding towns to see your message on the website and mobile app, and potentially in their email Forum. Unchecking this box makes your posting visible only to other members of the Forum it was posted to.
  • "Allow people to respond to you by email" – Checked by default. A "Contact Author" button will appear on your posting, allowing members to send messages using FPF’s secure email relay system. Unchecking this box removes the button.
  • "Include this posting in your Directory listing" – When posting from a Business or Nonprofit profile, check this box to display your message on your public FPF Business Directory listing.

Posting drafts

Our system will auto-save a draft version of your posting in the event you leave the page. A red dot on the orange Compose button in the menu indicates that you have an active draft. Click the “Discard Draft” button at the bottom of the page to clear your draft.

Submit, review, or edit / delete a posting

Click / tap the orange “Submit” button after filling out the required fields. A “success” message on your screen indicates the message was added to FPF’s moderation queue. Learn more about how to review, edit, and delete postings.
