# How does the "favorite" feature in the Directory work?

## The heart button is a great way to keep track of businesses you like.

To "favorite" a business or nonprofit organization in the [FPF Directory](https://frontporchforum.com/directory), click the heart icon. Each listing you "favorite" is added to your "My Favorite Listings" page.

While everyone can see the number of hearts an organization has, the names of those members who "favorite" a business are never made public, and your "My Favorite Listings" page is only visible to you.
